ShowLeads Privacy Policy

How ShowLeads handles the information exhibitors capture at trade shows — what we collect, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and who it belongs to.

Effective October 23, 2026
1

Who we are §

ShowLeads is a trade-show lead-capture application provided by Yipkos, Inc. ("we", "us"), a Nevada corporation, 6628 Sky Pointe Drive, Suite 116, Las Vegas, NV 89131. Contact us about this policy at privacy@yipkos.com.

2

Our role §

Exhibitors use ShowLeads to capture information from attendees who visit their trade-show booth. The exhibitor decides what is collected and why. We hold that information on their behalf and act on their instructions. We do not decide what is collected, and we do not use it for our own purposes. Our contracts with exhibitors include a data processing agreement meeting the requirements of Article 28 of the GDPR.

We separately issue sign-in accounts to exhibitor staff so they can use the app. Those accounts are issued to the exhibitor's organization.

3

What we collect §

Attendee information, as configured by each exhibitor: contact details such as name, email, phone and postal address; professional details such as company, job title, credentials, specialty and professional identifiers; and the responses, notes, survey answers or signatures the exhibitor asks its staff to record during the interaction. Which of these is collected — including whether a signature is requested at all, and for what purpose — is determined entirely by the exhibitor.

Badge scan images. Scanning captures an image of the attendee's badge barcode. Where a scan cannot be read correctly, that image may be sent to us so we can recover the attendee's details and correct the fault.

Sign-in and device information. The email address used to sign in, and an identifier the operating system provides for the device, so a session can be tied to the device it was started on.

We do not collect location, contacts, health information, or advertising identifiers, and we collect nothing about how the device is used outside the app.

4

How we use it §

Attendee information is used only to provide the service the exhibitor engaged us for: recording the interaction, making it available to that exhibitor, and producing reporting on that exhibitor's own show activity. Sign-in and device information is used to authenticate staff and keep sessions secure.

We do not use this information to build profiles, to track people across other apps or websites, or for advertising. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics.

5

We do not sell personal information §

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6

Who we share it with §

Attendee information is provided to the exhibitor who collected it. Beyond that, we share it only with service providers who host and support our systems on our behalf and under contract, with public professional registries where an exhibitor asks us to confirm a professional's details, and where required by law.

Our systems are hosted in the United States. Shows take place in many countries, so information collected at a show outside the United States is transferred to and stored in the United States. Where the law of the country of collection restricts such transfers, we make them under appropriate safeguards: the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for information collected in the United Kingdom, incorporated into our agreements with exhibitors.

7

How long we keep it §

We keep attendee information for six months after the show at which it was collected, then delete it. An exhibitor may agree a different period with us, and that period governs.

After deletion we retain only the exhibitor's own configuration — such as their logo and show settings — which contains no personal information.

Two practical notes: the app works offline, so information may be held on the capturing device until it can be sent to us, and removing the app removes that copy. Where an exhibitor has chosen to save badge images to the device's photo library, those images remain under that device's control and are not deleted by us.

8

How we protect it §

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel, activity is logged, and each exhibitor's information is accessible only to that exhibitor.

9

Your rights §

You may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you.

Attendees: we hold your information on behalf of the exhibitor whose booth you visited, so please contact that exhibitor — they decided what was collected and are responsible for your rights in relation to it. You may also write to us at privacy@yipkos.com and we will work with them on your request.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region granting data-protection rights, those rights are exercised through the exhibitor as the party responsible for the collection; we assist them in honoring them.

Exhibitor staff: contact us at privacy@yipkos.com.

10

Children §

ShowLeads is a business tool used by exhibition staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11

Changes §

We will post changes here and update the date above.
